Just coming on while spuds are boiling.

    Ta for new thread pigpen

solway - Congratulations on becoming a godmother!. I know I wish ours were more generous with thier time and attention than their money. Same goes for the grandparents, come to think of it. (Going into feeling sorry for myself mode) They dont offer to babysit, they dont come over to play, when we ask them to the likes of Pizza Hut for lunch they wont come etc etc , its ridiculous. (snaps out of feeing sorry for myself mode)

Well I tried to cheat and do kitchen yesterday as I wasn't around much today so I am swapping kitchen day (whenever that is) and today.
So my list goes a little like this ....

    [STRIKE]Level Two
    Wipe down surfaces
Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards
Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, firdge, freezer etc) and inside the microwave[/STRIKE]

    Dailies:
    [STRIKE]
    Brekkie and tidy up
    WM on
    Lunch and tidy up
    [/STRIKE]
    WM into TD/airer
    Bottles
    Packed lunches
    DW on
    Empty DW
    TD away
    15 mins sorting garage
    15 min paperwork
    15 min finances
    [STRIKE]HHE - walk to school[/STRIKE]

My leftovers to date plus tasks for this week:
Harrass hubby to book Kia service
    Send off DD2 CTF voucher
Make dentist appointments for us all
    Change cooker hood filters
Clean front door and step - its filthy
Sort out 3-6 month clothes for DD2 - before they are too small for her
Check where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc (yes I know it's repeated but lots of members were not about when it was done)

Today I have also cleaned out the inside of the car, and hoovered it :)
And at the weekend we sorted the dining room, hung a cabinet thingy and moved some pictures around. Oh and I tidied the bureau and my sewing box. So its all looking quite nice just now.

Bobbles and hair stuff now in one box. Everything together and looks so much better. I've been meaning to sort this out for four years! How bad is that! This thread has saved me money too as I needed to buy her some more blue bobbles for school and found loads and loads of them. The top of the fridge now looks a lot tidier too.

DD due back any moment so will declutter the hall and the landing and clean the cat tray till she gets in.

When DD gets back I need to help her with some maths as she's struggled with it in the past. Any teachers on here...am I doing enough just spending ten minutes a night going over anything she's not sure of in class. She usually understands it once i've gone though it with her. Some of her class is so disruptive the teachers don't always check the quieter children have understood.

    Right...cat tray!

And for those who are interested....I didn't get anymore blue tits! :rotfl:

Ok, here is tomorrow's list for me. I want to get it done asap so I can go hunting charity shops for a sixties outfit.

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One

    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean fridge and see what needs using first
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    • Clean oven if it really needs it.. or just do the hob.. mines gross.. you need to shame me into cleaning it!
    • HHI .. bit of a catch up!!
    • Write an inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first
    • Empty the cutlery drawer.. clean it out, wash the cutlery tray, chuck those baby spoons you don't use any more.. how many medicine spoons do you actually need? get rid of everything you don't use and make the drawer look nice again!
    Additional 27 x 3 list;
    - 27 pieces of paper shredded
    - 27 pieces of paper filed
    - 27 boogie fling
Also need to pay cheque in bank for DS.

I've got the day off tomorrow so the quicker I can do it the better.

shell - hugs to you and your poorly DD1.I hope she feels better soon.

The supply agency have just rung, all the paperwork is now in place, so I should be going out tomorrow! Aaargh...stress levels now rocketing! I'll be fine once I've done the first day, but I don't think I'll be sleeping tonight. I think I'll do a packed lunch tonight, and pack some stuff just in case. At least it is secondary, so I shan't be doing any planning and probably not marking either unless it's my subject.Smart suit at the ready!
Good luck serena! not that I think you will really need it!

I haven't managed much more than I had earlier, so will just have to knuckle down tomorrow.
My kitchen is quite tidy, so will try to get those hotspots done and do the floor....struggling to want to get motivated just thinking about it...but I'm sure I'll be fine by tomorrow...
