Only 38 more things to parcel up.. but only 18 of those are paid for.. still no HHC for me.
DS1 off to quacks with hubby to supervise.. his Kermit eyes are looking a bit better but his face is still swollen!... and he is covered head to foot in an itchy rash.. definitely as allergy.. but what to???
He had cornflakes with milk.. no sugar.
one slice of gammon
and curry.. at my dads.. so I have no idea what was in it.. and he doesn't speak to me so I can't ask what was in it.. though if my sons health is at risk I will be phoning!!
All those things he has had loads of times. I've bought the same juice for years so it isn't that.. it's so annoying!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Nope.. they are a total waste of money!!!
They have 2 big boxes inside which you are meant to fill with water and freeze... they are meant to cool the steam as it comes out of the vent hose and turn it back into water... what actually happens it because steam is lighter than the surrounding air it rises straight out of the box and makes your house into a sauna.. plus the boxes don't stay frozen long enough and you only get enough for one use and they take about 10 hours to freeze.. IF!!!! you can fit them in your freezer!!!
Mine went on freecycle!
Thanks Pigpen, i guess i have to find the TD a home near a window grrr0 -
I'm on my way to work now but wanted to ask you lot who have tumble dryers whether or not you can use them on carpet. I aks this because the only space i have for a dryer is in my bedroom near the window. I'll catch your replies later..see you
Mines in my bedroom (only space for it) and on carpet, carpet is fine. (And bedroom gets nice & warm!)
I'm just finishing a cup of tea, and catching up on the posts before making a start on the bathroom. 5pm and I've not touched it yet!!
I have been to Asda, and Halfords, and stuck a dark wash on (which is now in the TD) Was going for walkies but the heavens opened as I was driving back from shops, so bathroom first I think.

Right, my second HHC saw the dining room and living room being decluttered - not cleaned just decluttered. I'm now going to sort the four boxes of bobbles and hair stuff that my daughter has accumulated for her hair. Who needs four boxes! It's chuck it out time!0

shell - hugs to you and your poorly DD1.I hope she feels better soon.
The supply agency have just rung, all the paperwork is now in place, so I should be going out tomorrow! Aaargh...stress levels now rocketing! I'll be fine once I've done the first day, but I don't think I'll be sleeping tonight. I think I'll do a packed lunch tonight, and pack some stuff just in case. At least it is secondary, so I shan't be doing any planning and probably not marking either unless it's my subject.Smart suit at the ready! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Evening everyone.
I've read quickly while trying to entertain charlie, so appropriate hugs and smilies to the relevant people.
Came home early as the management at work said it was my turn to do detention duty tonight, so i said, uhhh, NO! i work part time on a monday, so i actually got off my bum and left the school building, and have had a lovely time with my boy, helping me with some cleaning, but then doing some colouring in.
I've hoovered the living room/dining room/hall and stairs which were desperate for doing. Despite the number of times DH has had the hoover out over the weekend he didn't think to do that bit.
I've sold another item for my mum on amazon, so i need to package that this evening and get that off to the post office tomorrow. Pretty uneventful day otherwise.
Oh, best also add to the tonight list get DH to check the child lock is on in my car, as my friend pooped herself this morning when her DS opened the car door when she was driving, and as he is 7 weeks older than charlie it is a great gauge of when we might run into similar trouble.:rotfl:
best go start the bath time routine. My more organised list for today has so far worked great, as i have managed to do most of the work things on there, and i just need now to do some more of it tonight and i may actually feel productive.
See you all later.
Michelle, x0
