Awww thanks Paps - you are so very kind!! Right now I've got it sorted in my head, I will go for £15 this week. Have got things to buy, but are all budgetted elsewhere, so that should do me fine.

Excitingly I've managed green for my very first week! Came in at just 21€ all of which was spent on lunches and snacks for the children from the babkery. This week I am going to be organised and make cakes/lunches.
I'll still go for 25€ this week though as I am still a 'beginner"!
Thanks PAPSaving to pay the tax man0 -
I spent £50 on getting my car serviced, as it was unplanned I ended up £40 over budget. Oh well. £10 for next week please!:heartpuls

Hi guys, Im interested in this challenge as any method of keeping tabs on my spending has to be good.
What sort of things do you include in your spends though? I cant think of anything I have bought this week that hasnt been justified or budgeted.
For example this last week or so, I have spent money on petrol, groceries, new shoes for DD a puzzle for DS and clothes for them both. I have a monthly petrol budget, grocery budget and kids clothes / shoes / toys budget (although that got blown for Jan). DH bought some DIY stuff which is essential but we dont have a DIY / household / maintenance budget so would that count? I guess also car park money. Or maybe Im spending money and not noticing and thats the problem.
I might note absolutely everything this week and add it up, then set a target next week. In which case I will do Sunday to Saturday as I see no benefit in having a day off.0
