Help, can I ask for pricematch once I have agreed in principal a different deal?

Hello

I called CPW to cancel phone and was offered a deal, I decided to think about it and waited until my final bill appeared so that I could claim cashback on my old deal. My original deal last year meant the effective monthly cost was £7.50 p/m.

After debating about it I decided to pursue it so called them on Fri with offer of 12 mth contract on clearance D900 as I am not bothered about phone. This was originally on £30 p/m and would be £250 cashback, however on the phone the guy offered the £250 cash back (again I'm fine with cashback as this is what I have had before). The deal was it is now £35 per month, 400 min 500 texts all on o2 as before. This effectively means I will be paying £14 per month but I specifically said I can only justify it to come to approx £10 with cashback included.

I notice on e2save the same deal d900 clearance on o2 with 400 min 500 txt 9 mths free, effective cost £8.75 p/m.

so what if anything can I do. I've only agreed the deal in principal and the phone is due to come tomorrow and I know I can return it under 14 day money back guarantee but will they match the deal on e2save?

I've never returned phone under 14 day policy before. New tariff doesn't apply until 26.02.08 as I've had a text from o2 confirming.

Please help, I'm getting stressed about what to do.

Ta

Right, just spoke to CPW and they say when I receive phone today, to call them and get returns authorisation and then to call e2save as that is who better deal is with. CPW say they cannot pricematch on tariff deals just on price of phone. Anyone in the know who can advise
me on whether I need to cancel contract or whether I can just do new phone through e2save without giving notice. New phone would be on same network as old.

If you don't give notice on your current contract it will just continue.

So if I pursue the upgrade from CPW then obviously the new contract will overide the old one from 26th Feb as per text from o2 but if I decide to not go with that deal then I will need to give notice then go with phone from e2save??????
