my phone will not display received calls when i select the call register menu,
it does not have that option.
it was originally on virgin network , i unlocked it , then use it with an oragne sim.
any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
it does not display the number which is calling even if it is not withheld.

I assume ur on PAYG. Phone Orange and tell them to send you a "SIM Update", as you've now got a Nokia 3200 phone. When u receive it, read it, delete it then switch your phone off. Turn it on again and all the "normal" menus and features should be available, including caller display.0

thanks for your info,
however i'm not on payg, i have a contract, only thing is i'm not using the phone that came with the contract.
the nokia came with virgin sim and i have unlocked it to use the orange sim.
hope this makes matters clearer.Nice to save.0 -
Well then I'd phone Orange anyway and tell them the problem that you've got.
I assume that all the menus appear OK and caller display works fine if you have your SIM in the original phone that came with your contract. If this is the case, tell them you've changed phones and c what they say. If they don't budge, then you can always temporarily mis-place your phone and call them back, giving this as the reason for using a different phone. Make sure they don't try to block your original phone though, just tell them it will turn up somewhere/sometime!!0 -
