Far more likely to be due to substandard Freeview receivers (built to a budget) and video senders in my opinion.

Most DECT phones can cause such interference. I remember years ago Sky boxes (analogue) never used to be very happy if a mobile phone was used near them.

Having slagged off my Philips Onis in an earlier post, I have to say that one problem it doesn't have is interfering with my Freeview box (Humax 8000T freeview + PVR)

I've had Philips DECT phones for over 7 years, and they've never interfered with anything else in my house.
However, i do have a Philips video sender that completely blocks the signal for my wireless PC network.

I have 8 dect phones of all makes and they DO Not interfere with Wi-Fi, Freeview, Videosenders et al. Not in my house nor next door.

Yep, these Philips ones at cheaper , but they are an inferior model with none of the enhanced features of the 5111. If you just want a DECT phone then cheapest may be best, but I bought the 5111 cos of the baby monitor function and the cool polyphonic ringtones!

Got 3 of these for my new house, they are great little phones, and look super cool. Menu is a bit fidgety but as I'm into lots of gadgets I'll leave it for the winter nights and just use the usual features but interested in the features mentioned, all came within 3 days of order so many thanks as they have saved me a little fortune.....now where do I spend my savings...hmmm.

I just recieved my order, the phone look good for the price, but I have to wait a while for them to charge before I now how good they are to use etc.. :-)
