I found these on the Yellow Pages website for you. If you have never been before try and get there before the auction starts to view the items, be prepared to stand around for ages freezing your butt off and take a flask of tea if you don't want to pay the extortionate food wagon prices. Well that's what it's like at ours anyway :D
Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.
  • Just check your Yellow Pages or Thompson the local ones will be listed.

Such a gorgeous cupboard Mollymunchkin I would go for fabric I think.Quicker and easier! How much did you get it for if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks VP, feel like I've been approved by a pro now :D I paid £30 for it, a bit more than I wanted but there was a commission bid on it and it was the only thing there I fancied.

  • well girls been busy today.. bought a gorgeous huge hurricane glass vase for £2 from age concern, and a cream jug for £2
went to sainsburys and bought a pink spotty jug for £7.99..which is a lot more than what i would normally pay but its so heavy and really worth it
and then bought a few more things in au naturale..tea, coffee sugar canisters in like a petrol green ( if there is such a colour!) for £10..we've had a bit of extra money this month so we treated ourselves!!
went to homebase before but they are having a 10% day on thursday so if you want to get your F&B paint.. wait until then as you'll get some money knocked off..
the one colour i went for they dont stock ( doh! ) so its back to the drawing board on that one for me..
i did notice however that their laminate wood effect work tops are really nice and work out abotut £100 cheaper than the ones i was going to buy so am thinking we will go for these and now might be able to get new cupboard fronts instead of keeping the old ones.. especially as i cant get hold of the paint colour i want!!!

cant wait for all our house to be finished then i will take all my piccies.. my poor husband is exhausted!!!!!!

Homebase can order in F&B paint for you, mine did today and I was told it will take about a week to arrive.
Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.

Oh I try not to shop with my husband, unless we are buying something major for our home. I get put off with the sharp intakes of breath when I look at things that aren't his taste, then he'll say " no, you get it if you really want it". Bless him;)
  • My OH wanted to come to the auction with me and ended up bidding on a [STRIKE]scruffy[/STRIKE] rustic small pine table for £4.50 :T
