I'm resisting more wool too ...
However, what I'm after is a free knitting pattern for peony flowers. Have spent a while on Pinterest without finding what I'm after (which could be me and Pinterest not getting on) - anyone got any suggestions? I've got some poppy patterns, and I'm just wondering if I could do more petals of the petalled one, or more layers of the 'all-in-one', and see if I can cobble something I like the look of ...
I found this site which may have some ideas you can use:

Hello all,
I've only just got my knitting bug back (I flirt between knitting, crochet, epp, spinning, scrapbooking, being lazy) and I finished my Polkagris Kerchief by Kate Davies yesterday, which meant I instantly started a new pair of socks lol. I've got way to much stash with the dreams of knitting this that and the other so I'm hoping to make an effort to start going through it and if I don't think I'm going to knit/spin it I'm going to be brutal and sell it! We'll see how that goes lol0 -
I need help changing a pattern that's written to knit in the round, to knit it flat. I can't work out how to get a Right side and a Wrong side. Anybody help?0

I knitted a jumper in the round that was meant to be flat. Instead of alternating knit and purl rows, I just did knit.
So, odd rows will be as described in the pattern, and even rows will be the reverse, ie if it says knit, you purl and vice versa. Your right side will be facing you for the odd rows, and away from you for the even rows.
Can't help if it's fancy stuff like lace or cabling! Because I am no expert!Signature removed for peace of mind0
