mobile phone companies - Vodaphone and Three
Sorry about this but I have to rant at someone.
Due to the cowboys that I bought my phone through finally going into liquidation I have decided to try and minimise my loses and drop down my tarrifs. HO HO HO.
Firstly Vodaphone - they at least made a little effort and offered me the option of cancelling my account and saving me the month and a half I have left of the contract. But when I tried to ring them to accept the deal - the phone number they gave me is now not available and the message tells you to ring 191 - but when you ring 191 they tell you to ring the number on the email:mad:
But the company that really gets my goat is Three - bunch of f'ing cowboys. I phoned to speak to them but they really don't want to know or help. I asked if I could drop my tarrif down to the £15 mix and match contract. They say that I am not entitled to do that and the cheapest I could drop down to is £25 a month (which would incur a £25 admin charge). However I could drop down in stages - to £30 a month and then the following month down to £25 a month - which I said Yes Ok to - I figured that was better than nothing. I was then informed that as I had just missed this months billing cycle they wouldnt do anything until 26th February. I am soooo fed up I wish I didnt need a mobile - but I am stuck with this one till July.
Mobile phone companies really don't give a sh*t about their customers do they. We get shafted left right and centre and they don't give a damn as long as they get their money.
Sorry rant over - I am off to drink lots of beer.
