to good to be true? 3 £5 pm 500 mins & 100 txt

after having lots of hasle with 3 i decided to cancel my contract which was 1 wk old..so managed to get my pac number (which was a mare),there call center in india foned said iv been picked out of 25 people (which is probly bull)to recieve a nokia 6288 500 mins anytime any network & 100 txt for £5 p/mnth for life...after used 500 mins it will be 10p per min & 10p per txt after 100 txt used...he was speaking so fast it was if i won the lottery,so then he played pre recorded english speaking of terms & conditions which said i got 14days to change my mind as long as the fone has not been used or switched on or anything like that,im tied in for 18 mnt contract then can cancel with 30days notice after that..i think iv agreed to it so from wat i can make out he said il send u the fone tues,then played me the terms & conditions then the after that the call just finished & line went dead lol...

ring back 3 and ask them if that was actually them
usually its a 3rd party in which case i wouldnt touch with a bargepole as its probably a cashback deal with a random company that could disappear in 2mins

no they said they was frm 3 direct & to be honest i reconised the number from numerous call from there customer services 07782333333 which i just checked & its the same no they called from yesterday from customer services..only toruble is i dnt go much on the fone & i want somethink like n95 or 850i & i use approx 400 txt p/m so put like that is it such a good deal as my txt usage will take it over £30.00 per mnth!

i recieved a simular offer,its definate from 3, a nokia n95 on the mix and match 300 for 10.00 a month.. same as you i text more, so might send the phone back,

i think there pretty clever which is hardly rocket science really,they must look at my previous bills & work out how much i txt per mnth so they know they will get there money back at the end of the day when i go over my txt limit ..shame iv not got no one to give it to who only uses 500 mins to tlk 100 txt per mnth,then there get there money worth!
asma have u used the fone or swithed it on,ifso u mite have problem sending it back

just foned them back to say cancel the order,nice try!
they said the order has been placed so it has to be disspatched..wheres the logic in that...here we go again!
