Thanks for all the replies - appreciated

I'm planning on using the benefits of the Advantage Gold anyway so I guess the 90-days money back guarantee won't be used but, thanks for the reminder natweststaffmember
I know it's a Maestro 'cos the guy on the phone told me plus a cheque book plus I got accepted for 0% credit card so going to BT the Barclaycard
Didn't do too bad considering I've had the Solo for 9 months but, then again I didn't apply for a higher status current account to start with I went straight for the Step account as I already had/have a full curent account with rival Halifax - which will be closed if NatWest come true :jProudly Banking & Saving With:

I know it sounds silly but is the debit card actually Gold colour or just normal?0

A debit card from natwest is as follows.
Solo: Purple
Maestro 100 cheque guarantee limit all in one: Blue
Maestro 250 cheque guarantee limit all in one: Gold
Upgrading to advantage gold means you could get one of the above0 -
