(oh and how impossible is it to find a decent hair website to get ideas from!!! i've been looking for days!)

Have you tried virtual hairstyle? if you are happy to pay the $14.95 (about £7ish and they do Paypal) you can upload a photo & find the style that suits you....

Have got a wooly head today - got home last night to the letter confirming my contract extension, and a bottle of champagne from DF - which was drunk within 30m of walking in the door! Then followed by a big glass of red with tea...and a top-up watching a dvd....result is a hung-over Floss :o

Hey ho, had the bacon buttie & can of certain full-fat cola drink to cure it now, so will just hope the phone is quiet today!

Very windy up here, but sunny too....no snow yet though it is forecast.

Love to all, and enjoy the rugby to those who will be watching :)

ah yes Matchbox 20 - my ex bought their album years ago, I remember it was pretty good, I think 3am was in the charts?. I thought they had split but I guess not!

yeah, thats the one. had a couple of hits over here but they are largely unknown even after 4 albums. They did split but then brought out a new album at tail end of last year..after Rob Thomas went solo but never achieved the same success he had with matchbox. I never thougth I would get chance to see them.

Tried linking to their myspace page but its like someone has hijacked it

If you get a minute check this out for me. What do you think of Jimmy Dean as a single? Think it would sell?

I like it. It's like a mellowed out Scissor Sisters mixed with Jack Johnson.

  • Just listening now Toto. Is it 'A Dream'? It sounds (to me) like a good album track or one for an 'unplugged' session but I'm not sure it has enough of a commercial sound for a really successful single.

Is he supporting Amy Mcdonald? Cool, he must be seen as pretty good - she's very in at the moment.

I prefer Jimmy Dean and Steve McQueen as a single - reminds me of the Zootons or even a little bit like the Hoosiers. I can just hear the album advert with this in the background, it would be a great summer single - video with lots of sunshine, countryside, almost slightly psychadelic look to it.

Yeah I'm struggling to see a single, but he's always writing. Yeah he's supporting Amy, I seem to follow that lass everywhere at the moment. The Hoosiers were with her for a bit last year. He's definately EMIs shot for 2008, everything is Julian, so i think he'll be pushed hard. The tour starts proper next week in Ireland... he's dead mellow so we'll see. I love love love working with new artists though, I love the excitement in them and the never quite knowing how it'll pan out.

  • d'oh , just realised your link goes to the wrong single, I thought you meant Dream for a single.

Yes, I love Jummy Dean as a single!!!! I've also done you the storyboard for the video!

    .

Some of the stuff on there was recorded unplugged because the band wasn't together. I like dream but that version goes nowhere for me, I'm always waiting for the big drum fill. But now the band are putting some parts together these tunes will change.
