Thanks to the OP for thinking of others though

But when used as the normal hoover the brushes on the bottom help to loosen the dirt, so the suction watts isn't so much of an issue surley!0 -
Picked one up on Saturday. Great deal. Thanks for posting.0

picked up one today. Great buy thanks a lot.... and suction is v.good ... just used it and looking at the dirt cylinder makes me realise how poor my other hoover was  ...A friend is a present which you give yourself (R.Stevenson)

Same here and my electrolux is only a few months old. The suction seems really good to me, the only down side is the length of the hose. The tools would barely reach the picture rails and I had to lift the hoover with 1 hand and use the hose in the other to get cobwebs at ceiling height.picked up one today. Great buy thanks a lot.... and suction is v.good ... just used it and looking at the dirt cylinder makes me realise how poor my other hoover was  ...
Having said that I like the tools, good quality and fix well to the main body.
Great buy for £35, thanks to OP. And thanks, as the novelty of a new hoover has made me hoover places that were long overdue!
