I am on the phone for several hours each weekday doing surveys. I can use an unlimited landline package to call UK landlines but need a mobile phone tariff with around 1500+ min x-network per month to call mobiles. No texts required.
Any ideas?

Excluding cashback offers etc, 02 Simplicity SIM card only for £60/month offers 1,800 minutes.
Orange Panther SIM only is £35 a month for 1,200 minutes and unlimited minutes to orange mobiles too.
Three contracts with a free phone offer 1,100 minutes for £27/month.
Generally, the SIM-only deals tend to include more minutes but the per-minute cost when inclusive minutes are exhausted may soon add to the cost (as it's often around 20p/min).0 -
The sim-only offers are good as I won't be tied into any lengthy contract. I am certainly worried about going over the allocated 'free' minutes. Is it is easy to keep track of usage on the various networks?0

Primus penny mobile ?SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

Primus Penny Mobile sounds interesting until you realise that the MNIMUM cost for any call is 20p! Mosts of the calls I make to mobiles are only answered by voice mail so this is likely to prove very expensive!0

I just got a deal with Orange - £32.50p/month for 24 month contract with 1400 x-network minutes/month and unlimited minutes to Orange mobiles (at any time) with FREE Nokia 6500 (slide) Handset.
Assuming I use the free allowance (and no more) that works out at 2.32p/min! Im sure some of the mobiles I call with be Orange mobiles so that that will probably bring the effective cost to under 2p/min plus a free handset!
Calls to mobiles from a landline using Martin's recommended 18185.com are 6p/min plus a 5p connection charge and are charged per minute meaning that even a one-second call costs 11p. Calls from Orange contract mobiles are billed per second.
Of course, getting a mobile to call other mobiles is only cost-effective if you make many minutes of calls each month!0
