Yes that looks like its been like that for ages. Are the bongos in excellent condition? As they are boxed and with all manuals. If i was reading that i would just asume the bongos were in excellent condition.

Did you email him to confirm the box was in great condition? I would still refund you the 15% as its so much easier that way.

it will be interesting to see what they finally decide at ebay/PP.
i can see what you are saying, but my point still stands.
the crucial words are "not significantly as described".
    good luck anyways.

When I looked at your photos, The damage wasn't as bad as I'd expected it to be.

It does look a little squashed in one picture.

Did the seller have a picture of the item from his listing in 'excellent condition'? could you copy/paste it here?

You were offered £2 and you turned it down? It is going to cost you more to sort it out.

But thats your perogative I suppose.

TBH i probably would have let it slide for £2.00 and a sorry. But the sellers attitude wound me up and foolishly i let it cloud my judgement.

I was fairly annoyed that it arrived with a hole in the front and was pretty battered. I dont mind buying second hand goods if they're in good nick i just dont wanna look like a cheapskate giving an 8yr old kid a really battered gift i guess...

Im still half tempted to see what paypal say, im not paying to return it to him tho as i balk at the idea of shelling out a further £6.00 that he wont refund...

I think there's an option on the paypal dispute to say you will accept a partial refund.

I did this a while ago and was accepted. You could try that..?
