PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

The only advice I would give is that 90% of market value sounds too good to be true, wait and see if they actually pay up. I wouldn't be surprised if they survey and then lower the price.
The only thing to be aware of is that genuine buy-me-quick operators will pay for their own survey/ valuation. I was also suspicious as you say you have been on the mkt for over 7 months, which is coincidentally the length of time referred to on the website you link to when they refer to how long a house could take to sell.
But anyway, assuming that you are genuine, there are a number of pitfalls associated with these type of companies. One permutation is being asked to pay for the survey - a few hundred pounds or more, after the sale mysteriously disappears after along with your cash.
Another is that they offer a seemingly good price, but later lower it based on a 'bad' survey, carried out by one of their employees. They know you are vunerable and lead you on before offering a lower price later on in the process. In essence gazundering.
If you are aware of the pitfalls, then you could give them a go, but don't expect them to be knights in shining armour, don't expect to get what they initially offer (20-30% under mkt final offer is typically referred to on other sites), and read the small print carefully.0 -

Why are you saying that this is spam, what makes you think this and what clues should I look out for?
thanks from a newbie
