Porting number from contract to PAYG
Options
Hi
Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I am due to cancel my other half's contract with Orange and put her on O2 PAYG. My question is, can I just request a PAC and how then do I activate this on the O2 account?
If it's any help to people's fury and piece of mind, I am another person leaving Orange due to the fact that the Broadband and it's after sales service is the worst consumer experience I've ever had. The mobile service is nothing less than excellent, but they aren't having another penny off me EVER!
"PPP Server down" is like swearing in my house!

Yep, all you need to do is ask Orange for your PAC code. Assuming that it's ok (ie, you're not 2 months into an 18 month contract!), they should give you it.
Once you get the PAC code, call up O2 customer services from your PAYG phone, and say "I have a PAC code".
Easy as that0
