With O2 you can track how long your calls have been in the members area of the website (though the information tends to lag about 2 days behind)
I assume other networks are the same

I use t-mobile and they update your ussage and allowances pretty much instantly but I have friend who has O2 and they are take a while to update atleast a day, It may be better to monitor your call usage on your mobile phone call settings.

O2 are a little slow at updating your remaining call allowance, nothing new there. However i have to say that i've found O2's Customer Relations/Services to be much better than T-Mobiles and overall they have better coverage with less chance of dropped calls.0

can u tell with texts as well?
i have 200 free texts, i dont wanna go over and start paying :S0 -
If you call O2 on 100 you can find out how many minutes and texts you have left for the month.
I get an allocation of minutes and texts on my work phone and obviously didn't want to go over limit. It is not automated but they are very helpful.
They will ask some easy security questions:
- Name
- Address
- How you pay your bill
- Your phone model
- Last number called
- The tariff you are on
Hope this helps.NCFC Member #00012 :cool:0 -
remember some o2 contracts ( CPW / e2save for example) are serviced by the dealer ( CPW in the case of newer CPW/E2Save deals) with a different contact number
Is there no on line / automated system ?Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -

Call 2425 (free) from your mobile and follow the instructions.mm66 wrote:I missed this... How is one supposed to get the O2 free minutes? I have paygo O2? What do i do to get free minutes?
The calls & messages option gets you 100 mins/texts (i.e. 25 mins and 75 texts or whatever other combination you end up using)

Although companies don't always give you this option to check text usage, what I tend to do is to create an address book entry and then edit it each time you make a text. Call it "Texts used" and it will be stored alphabetically in your contact list.
It's the same as editing a contact name/number. For me it's the best way to keep tabs on text usage. So each time a text is used just delete the number to the next one down
Hope this helpsBetter in my pocket than theirs!0
