Zoom dial up failing

For anyone who is still on dial up, please note that zoom is practically non-existent these days. I know someone who hasn't been able to get onto the internet for most of the last 2 months.

Apparently, when they rang zoom, they were told that the company has been having problems since December and these problems are continuing.

Ok - zoom is free and people are migrating to broadband. But it would have been nice for zoom to have emailed a warning out to their users. This has prevented access to several sites and time spent checking phone lines and hardware.

As a result, my friend (a low user of the internet) will be looking at moving to broadband - but not with zoom.
