Hi folks
Thanks for the comments; not sure what happened with the synch issue but i will be finding out.
Funnily enough on car insurance we had to drop the "what do you do if you're not on the net" for time. In stoozing; without the net you can't do the muling technique anyway as egg money is a web card; so i explained the easy route for people.
Yet these days from our audience research the huge majority of the audience of the show have web access - its a very small amount who don't so its not that much of an issue.
On GMTV or the News of the World (less web audience) im much less web focused.

The mouth and sound were really out of sinc for me. Could listen but not watch as it was really annoying. I thought at first that the sound couldn't keep up with Martin but everyone was out of sinc.0

- Web oriantated - Martin did say something about writing it down on pen and paper. I don't think even the best shorthand writer in the land could keep up!
- Lip sync - was certainly miles out and unfortunately bad enough to make some people switch over. Love the comment just above here - "I thought at first that the sound couldn't keep up with Martin" !
- Good use of graphics - the information overload problem was eased a little, in the section where Martin or Ruth was on one half of the screen and some info on the other.
- The mystery pen chewer -just when we have a nice background without the audience another distraction! I've not noticed this before, either as a viewer or in the studio audience but we seemed to be looking through the glass at the production gallery. Not a problem for me except for a young lady in there constantly chewing her pen!

I don't understand stoozing either.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

I never even noticed you could see through the glass when it's filmed lol! Must watch it again for that! Well spotted!
As for the lip sync... Am I the only one who doesn't have that problem? I watched it on Sky Plus as didn't get home in time to catch the show (car on fire on the M40 seemed to slow everyone down)DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Loved the show.........and the Dodgy Car salesman impersonation Martin. Im liking the humour and the upbeat way the programme deals with money issues. I mean if you look back to the days of 'The Money Programme'..........(showing my age!!!!!) this is so much more refreshing. Another great one, just wish I was there.
Helen xx
PS...I thought the lip sync thing could be a good idea!!!! It could potentially mean cramming in a few more words than could be filmed!!! hahaha xxxThis above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. This is the first one I watched - sorry to be negative but it all seemed so shouty and rushed - please slow down and calm down dear it's only a TV show .....and then I got totally distracted by the out of sync sound/lips thing - thought I was going mad/too much wine, but then I came on here and saw it's not only me (phew)
I know more or less what stoozing is but was still totally confused by that guy - and sure 11.5k over 3 or 4 years is not bad; but it seemed to suggest that if you got one thing wrong (missed a payment for example) it would all go the way of the pear.........and all seemed a massive complicated effort to meAnyway, every time I have applied for a credit card since getting my first one via Barclays student account 11 years ago, I just get turned down, even though my credit records seem okay??? So might be worth pointing out not everyone can apply and get accepted for these credit cards.....I have been stuck with crappy Barclaycard for 11 years because nobody else will give me one.
Sorry, but I much prefer the weekly newsletter and forums for now although I can see the TV show idea has potential..................
Oh, and finally - put some Old Style stuff on the show...please!!!!!!!!!"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."
