WOW is that Prince Charles in the audience on IPTW More?
(hint: 2:22 - 3:25) :whistle:0 -
Well he could certainly do with a few moneysaving tips, the bills for the palaces must be huge.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -
Were they? Oh good, an excuse to watch it again. Must check missing heads...
LOL... :rotfl:
I just took another quick look.
There must have been something wrong when I watched it the first time,
as the top of the heads are there now!!!................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -
missed the show!
it pays to watch more was really good though, show seems a lot more 'together'Yes Your Dukeiness0 -
Definitely getting more professional than the 1st few shows. I watched it on normal channel 5 tv (not via my freeview) and the lipsync was terrible, in the end hubby and i hardly looked at the screen and just listened. The channel 5 techies need to really review that-would put a lot of new watchers off.
The Iwan Thomas bit was good, and Martins arthur daley at cargiant too!! (that place cost me £10k mind you, it was having unexpected twins-on top of the 2 i already have that cost that really!!!)
Still missing the OS section though. Would love to see the show stretched to 45mins so we get a little extra of every bit.
Stoozing-well explained but sadly i am not organised enough to do it!!!!!Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞0 -
Really enjoy the show, cant wait for Wednesday to come around (sad I know!). The lip sync thing was a bit annoying and I guess for people who arent used to Martin it may be too fast paced.
Should definitely be extended to 45 or 60 minutes.:j0 -
Great idea, channel 5 should donate a longer time-slot for the show, Im sure the ratings are good especially with us MSE fans, its always over so quickly isnt it?This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. (SHAKESPEARE, Hamlet, 1600) :kisses2:

A great show.We are all going to need to be MSE's this year.Should be an hour so it wouldn't need to be so rushed.
Could Martin use some of his savings to buy a new pair of jeans ?0 -
I've just watched the More video, and am horrified at the blatant suggestion of wasting perfectly good tomatoes! Martin you will never be able to show your face on the Old Style board again!
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

My thoughts is that this was the best episode. Very smooth and flowed well throughout. Not to say the others werent but this one just felt, easier to enjoy.
Martin and the co-presenter are doing a fabulous job in my eyes.
btw I was wondering how Stoozing was going to be explained as its probably the hardest technique in the MSE catalogu, took me a few reads to understand but you lot hit the nail on the head perfectly. Explained perfectly.
Only one thing though, I think there needs to be some sort of CGI or graphics when a few things are explained. Nothing fancy but especially cashback cards as that is mentioned every week and we only hear what Martins gotta say about them, which is just like 7 seconds long.
Great show and I hope that its a ratings winner.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0
