3M4U who is this company??
Options
Just wondering if anyone knows who 3M4U is? I recently had my mobile vodafone contract come up for renewal, so I upgraded the phone. Within a few days i had a call on it, whom I had presumed to be from vodafone, telling me they had a good offer for insurance for my new phone, a one off payment of £70 which would cover me for 18 months. So I took it and made the payment with my debit card to come out the following week. I decided against the phone and called vodafone to cancel the insurance. This is when i realised I hadn't bought the insurance off them. I had no numbers or paperwork to know who to contact to cancel. Eventually when the payment came out, I only found out that 3M4U, or mobiles 4 you, had taken the payment. I still have no idea who this company is? I have no paperwork or contact details. I tried the www.3m4u.com address that took my payment and it didn't work. No numbers to ring? I have never heard of this company? Is it even a legit company? How did they get my contact details to cold call me on my new handset? Soz for going on and on, but seriously, does anyone know? Much appreciated if you could let me know. TIA.

They sound like a very dodgy i am afraid, that deal sounded a little dodgy I'm not sure what you should do or contact, its very rare that vodafone will ever contact you, unless you have not paid a bill, even then i think they contact you its normally via a letter.
Contact your bank and see if they can find any information about the account the payment was made to.0 -
Nyx, i know who 3M4U are, im currently tryin to get my money back for the insurance i took out with them too, i was told there was no excess, and guess wot there was! They also mis-sold me my currnet contract on 3. There custormer service number is 08700612472, they will answer using a different name, but just ask for "3 mobliles 4 U".0

I was stupidly taken in by this company shortly after having an upgrade phone from Vodafone. The phone number that appears on my bank statement for 3M4U is 01269 597 941, but I haven’t been able to get an answer on it yet.:rolleyes:0

After signing up with a contract from vodafone i also had a phone call from an insurance company, don't know the name, but vodafone is defiantly passing on details without my permission.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
