How much have you cash-backed
I worked out recently that I had received 550 quid of cashback in the last 6 months - and had over 1500 to come (lets hope cpw don't go broke!). What is the record on here for outstanding cashback amounts.
Having ebayed a couple of handsets I reckon over the last year or so my wife, son and I have each had 750 plus free xnet mins a month (on three) plus about 500 mins a month on other networks for simply-fone international calls and (assuming all the cash backs come in) are probably about 300 quid up the deal - how long can this go on for?

Hi
I've just got the one at the moment, a nokia 7600 through the CPW at 2.99p.m. on three (talk & text 600), which we keep at home and are using instead of the house phone, this will save on the home phone bill and will hopefully work out as not costing us anything.
I am looking at taking out a few more cash back deals, possibly selling the phones and with the cheaper phones giving them as gifts to family and using the inclusive minutes when I need to.
A few things I was thinking about, how many contracts are you allowed to take out, do the networks restrict how many phones you can have.
Also how does this affect your credit rating as when you apply for a mobile phone contract they carry out a credit check and having lots of credit checks affects your credit rating.

Hi,
You're quite right. Taking out alot of contract deals can affect your credit rating and it also looks quite dodgy on the network too. I used to work in mobile retail doing connections on behlaf of my shop and interent customers. Sometimes we would have people which would take advantrage of a major cashback deal and apply for a new contract. When we contacted the network they would identify the person as having 2 or 3 ucrrent contracts and would usually request a cash deposit repayable at end of contract. So i dunno. Try it - it's your credit rating - not mine.
