    Hi MOT,

Bl**dy marvellous news! I didn't read your message til today as I have been swotting for a job interview. Didn't get it . Anyhow, I'm really thrilled. Of course, I can now openly admit that Hemel IS the best school in town and the twins are set up brilliantly for their forthcoming school years. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Oh forgot to tell you!! My mobile rang last night at 8.45pm and it was the ex LL (from the eviction time) so I passed the phone to I-T who said hello, hello and got no answer. So I listened and realised that ex LL was out somewhere and that he must have mistakenly pressed a button on his phone and it dialled my number. Anyway, I listened and could hear nowt but cheering and men talking, so I put my phone down beside me and left it whilst I watched 'The Apprentice' and ........... forgot about it! You're so right too A about not having to fight for the school with an appeal. I was stunned when I opened my email to find that the twins had been offered places as I just could not believe that something we wanted so much would just go our way without a fight!!!

maybe the school had heard about your reputation and heard you wouldn't take no for an answer and that if you needed to you would have your mse friends round to sort them out, they probably decided it was easier for them to give in straight away !!!:D

love what you did to the ex LL :rotfl:

    Hi J,

Was in B&Q in Hemel today. They've got a clearance on curtain bits and wallpaper. You can get really funky metal tieback things for £1 a pair and some lovely pole ends for £2 per pair. They've also got some lovely feature wall paper for £2 per roll. Didn't know how your curtain poles looked, but if they need an update they had some nice things, plus the feature wall paper would look lovely on say a chimney breast. If you're looking for that kind of stuff that is.

I'm such a frustrated interior designer!
