Which is the best cashback site?

Options
Hi,

I'm about to buy a mobile phone but I wanted to know which is the better website to buy from.

I've narrowed it down to phones2udirect.co.uk, onestopphoneshop.co.uk and e2save.com.

I know people have had problems with them in the past in regards to getting their cashback via redemption but which would you use as a lesser of three evils?

If you don't KNOW the answer to THAT one without asking I would VERY seriously advise you NOT to do any cashback deal!

phones2udirect are one to avoid unless you like losing money.

phones4u, mobiles2yourdoor, e2save, onestop are trading names for the big boys. You are more likely to get some cash back from these although it can sometimes take the threat of court action.

No need for the attack, I'm not stupid, just never bought a new phone this way before. I know they've all had complaints but the whole point of the site is moneysaving and I wanted to know everyone's personal opinions on which cashback websites they would recommend.

Anyway, having done more hunting I've ended getting a phone from carphonewarehouse. It's less cashback but a shorter contract.

I've been using dialaphone for 4 years for both mine and my wife's phones - every cashback has been paid on time and I even get texts to say when they have received my claims and also when payment has been processed.

I also get £20 every time I recommend a friend and they've never had any problems either.

I plan on getting my new phone from there on Monday.

Like many industries, the cowboys have ruined it for the legitimate companies.
  • Wouldn't worry about the website; people who need it the most don't read my guide (only 7,012 have) so why would they use it? No doubt those who don't do their (even the most basic) research will pop up on here with their desperate claim problems... fortunately my unfair reactions will now be limited as I am likely to spend less time on here - especially when excellent (if I do say so myself) advice is ignored.

I've used onestopphoneshop for my last 3 contracts and I've got all my cashbacks bar 3... (one of which I forgot to send and the other one was sent late- outside of the 28 day send back period).

I would recommend them as I think I've had a pretty good success rate. e2save is the same company (carphonewarehouse) so I should imagine it should be the same.
