I wondered as you guys and girlies are so clued up on this Boots Malarkey.

A few weeks ago I spotted the Bubble Garage in the half price sale, I ummed and ahhed and decided to think about it, the week after when I went back it was moved to the normal toy section, I spoke to a assistant and she advised it is full price. But I have seen posts on here saying it is reduced, this is the one currently on the boots website for £30. Are the reduced ones in old packaging or something?

Also I had success at this mornings sale, so thankyou everyone. After the day before I did think about getting up again but gald I did. I haven't bought hardly anything this year as with a 22 month old and a 5 month old it's not as easy getting in there but glad I got up at that ungodly hour this morning.:T

Sorry to seem dim but can any of you experienced BOOTSERS advise me re my shop today?
I am a bargain hunter and inspired by the posts on here thought I would try my hand at the points game (This is whilst waiting the 25-30 mins quoted for my prescription!!).
I rumaged around the sale counter and found 2 x elle macpherson creams reduced to £1 and printed the 100 points x 2 from the machine to use for them. I then bought other bits to make it £10.20 so I could get the £5 voucher. I decided to use the double points coupon from the mailing thinking I will get about 240 x 2 points. The vouchers would not go through the till and the girl said its because they are reduced, but the voucher does not say cant be used on reduced items. She said there was nothing she could do. I said OK dont put the double points through then and paid and got the prescription.
I then passed Boots no 2 on my way to the train and had a quick look at the sale but there was nothing there. I checked the nivea Q10 night cream and was surprised to see not 1 but 2!! so bought them both and offered my double points coupon to hopefully get 800 x 2 to be told I had used it once already today! I said I told the girl not to use it but did not want to go into details(dont want to be ID'd as a BOOTSER!!).
Question 1 - should I complain re not getting my 200 points with elle macpherson purchases and the girl putting through the double points when I said not to.
Question 2 - would i have got double points with either the elle macpherson vouchers or the 2 x nivea Q10 which give 400 extra points with purchase(ie 1600 points for the 2 instead of the 800 I got)
I appreciate any help you can give!!

Hi Week,

You do not get double points of 'deals or extra point coupons' only on the points you would have earned normally. Hope that makes sense.

Oh gawd, if that is the case it probably won't happen then. The SA's on our local No7 counter are just way rude , which is why I rarely go to that counter unless I know what it is I need.

I wouldnt mind but I am a trained beautitican and they always make me feel like they are doing me a favour!! Intimidation is the word I am looking for ....

Anyways, nothing ventured nothing gained ...
