I often go to my local which is fishergate preston, and i have known that there are two ways a reduced item goes through the till. If you notice that a clearance item is always scanned twice, once on the clearance barcode, then they put the price in, and then they scan the product. If an SA does this, say the No.7 wipes at 50p, you will get the illuminator free. However, some arrogant, irate, and b1tchy SA who feels the benefits are coming out of their wages will scan the clearance only, and say "sorry it does not go through." I have noticed this on a few occasions.
I managed to get the NO7 wipes at 50p with the illum powder free downstairs, and today went to try upstairs and before she put it through she said it wont go through. I explained that it will, and she tried the other way, and the till bleeped.
There are some SA's in the Fishergate stores, who really gets jealous of their customers getting bargains, and their is one who works upstairs who has given me so much grief, that I am very close to complaining about her to management. she really thinks she owns the place, and I have recently noticed her shouting at her colleagues in front of customers. If you are the SA that works on Mini Mode at Fishergate and you're reading this, get a life and have a heart!!0 -
Advice please, I haven't got any of this high lights powder yet as I'm not sure what it's for. The colours seem strange, is it a blush? surely it's not for all over face (unless it's mostly translucent?) I am pale skinned, would any of these work on me? thanks0
-
Hi, I think with pale skin the peach one would be good but use a bigger brush than the one supplied, brush it lightly on to your face and it just gives you a healthy glow. The dark one is better if you have a tan or darker skin and the pink one is great as a blusher0

OK thanks, to me peach sounds orangey and thus scary, hehe0

Did anyone manage to get it from on here or was it already sold old when they added it?
Good luck to all those that ordered

This could have been the one that I returned a couple of days ago? The bottom tray was missing so you may not have missed out on a mega bargain afterall. I did give this information on the returns note so in theory it shouldn't be relisted- but Boots aren't the most efficient company in the world
