I don't want to mention the store, but I can understand now why Scrappy_mad and kitiaracat always say that they never have any luck with glitches with the No 7 SA.
I went in today and the conversation at the No7 counter went something like this.

'Do you have any of those new P&P sets in yet?'
'Not unless there are any down the other end'
'No, there's none down there. I was going to get myself one whilst the GWP off is on'
'Oh you won't get one of those with that'
    'Why?'
    'Because its a different offer'
'How do you work that out?'
I pointed to the sign which quite clearly said that if you send £20 on any No 7 purchase, you get the gift.
'Oh no, you can't have two offers together'
    'But its not two offers'
'It is, the P&P at that price is on special offer'
'I don't think it is, its just a gift set to entice people to start using it'
'Well you couldn't have the two together'
'My friend did the other day in another store'
    'Well she shouldn't have done'
'Well she did, in fact, she had the P&P set, the GWP, a free highlighter (because she had bought No 7) and then used the £5 No 7 voucher'

Well I thought she was going to have a heart attack.

'They shouldn't have put those through. It says clearly on the vouchers that they can't be used with any other offer'.
'But if the till says that the transaction is ok, who are we to argue with it?. Most stores seem to be putting it through ok'
    'They shouldn't even have tried'

I just laughed and said 'I'd better go and get mine from somewhere else then' and walked off laughing.

Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine. :)
  • Typical isnt it had a lie in this morning and the one thing I really wnated came up the No 7 artist palette!:mad::mad::rolleyes:
Did anyone manage to get it from on here or was it already sold old when they added it?

It was gone as soon as it came up ! :(
  • I bought some uplifting day cream from the large boots in walsall yesterday (together with a reduced product to get my free gift obviously) (oh and my free ill powder!)only to find that it was half price in the smaller boots in the Saddlers Centre. I asked the shop assistant if I could have a refund and then buy it again at half price, so I got 2 for the price of 1 therefore keeping my free gifts. I then bought another 3 as they were such good value and will be used, taking my purchase to over £20, therefore enabling me to get another free gift box. I used my £5. No7 voucher from my previous purchase together with the 350 points voucher from the gift box making it even cheaper. Unfortunately they didn't have any illuminating powder, so I cheekily took my till receipt to the larger boots store and said the assistant had said I could get my powder from them as I'd spent the money in another store that didn't sell the powder!
So in all all a good days shopping - over £140 worth of goodies for under £40.00 and another £5 No7 voucher!

    * The small store in the saddlers centre is being refurbished so the sa told me they needed to get rid of all the products in there. I think they are doing it gradually though as there was only a small area by the till with these products on. They also had a braun shaver reduced from £100 down to £30.
Well worth a look for all you local people.

I can't believe they have the Illuminating powder. I've been in the large store a few times over the last 2 weeks and never seen any yet! Obviously been looking with my eyes shut! :D Whereabouts is it? and did you save me any :rotfl:

  • KrispiiDuck you need more sleep! Bedshaped - the powder is in the section with all the creams, 2nd shelf up from the bottom on the right hand side I think! And at 5.00 last night they had all three colours too. There were also loads of the mags on a stand as you walk through the door. Good luck hope you get some!

I'd do the £5 off £20 first, the £5 off No7 and then the free illum.

As to whether they will all work is hard to say, you may get an SA that only lets you try one or the till may beep. As the SA is ringing it all in I say, (searching thru my purse) I've got some vouchers, could we see if any of them go thru please? I normally get a, yeah, we can have a try, and that's it really, even one's that beep have been overridden if the SA thinks I've met the T's & C's. It's all down to luck a lot of the time I'm afraid
