I know there is some offer on with the No 7 tanning wipes at the mo but havent had the time to catch up.... but for anyone interested and near Edinburgh Princes Street branch there were two wipes reduced to 50p on the No.7 counter at lunch time today.(got served my lunch there as the other queues were huge!)

Well, they can undoubtably track every purchase we've ever made if we've used our points cards at the same time. Points cards aren't just a bonus for us you know...they're a way of tracking customer spending habits. They've got our little profiles and details of our twenty-seven children and endless pregnancies all down there. They can link it all up and watch every penny we spend.

Thinking about it though our manic Bootsing habits must really screw up their system sometimes. The computer must think we're eating illuminating powder three times a day, washed down with P&P products and a side order of...well, whatever they have on offer.

Just come back from an extremely successful bootsing in the Trafford Centre!

I managed to get my mitts on:

1x illum powder - pink (free)
1x illum powder - peach (free)
No7 GWP (free)
500 Advantage Card points (250 point voucher out of my own GWP box that i sneakily took out & another 250 point voucher found on no7 counter!!) All for...

£2.50!!

Well, in total paid £7.50! (a £7 concealer i needed anyway and a 50p No7 tanning wipe) but with the £5 worth of points back works out £2.50 for all them goodies!

The male SA was obviously wanting to just go home (i deliberately waited until 9.45pm for this exact reason to go in boots!) and put the wipe through (got free illum). Step 1 of my cunning plan complete :cool:

Then i walked away, picked up the No7 concealer and other randoms to make up to £20, opened the GWP took out the 250 points voucher (not mega sneaky as it was going to be mine anyways) got my boyfriend to grab the stray & homeless 250 voucher off counter, grabbed a mag, tore out illum voucher (kept mag!) went to cashier, got the other free illum powder with the concealer purchase and then the magic happened...!

Just plonked the concealer, GWP and illum powder in a bag and said,... £7.00 please!!

He didnt even scan it through, i wasn't one to argue, so promptly put down my other 'randoms' that i had to make it up to £20 muttering about now changing my mind with them, paid him the £7, and feeling brave asked him to scan the vouchers. (These obviously beeped because i hadn't bought any skincare) but lo! He called over his supervisor and he put the 500 points on my card there and then, no questions asked - Brucey Bonus!

I am over the moon with my Bootsing and HIGHLY urge local people to go to the Trafford Centre Boots asap.

It was most certainly luck today and know this will probably not happen again with anyone, in fact, i highly doubt it will, as it was a human error, but on the plus side, they DO have many magazines and many tan wipes...

At least 25+ magazines
Over 20+ No7 tan wipes all in front of counter downstairs

So if you live in Manchester or near the Trafford Centre - go go go! With me going last thing at night and there being that much just before they shut the doors, they have to still be there in the morning...

Don't know where all the clearance stuff went from Bolton retail park. I hadn't been since last week when they still had quite a bit left.

I don't want to mention the store, but I can understand now why Scrappy_mad and kitiaracat always say that they never have any luck with glitches with the No 7 SA.
I went in today and the conversation at the No7 counter went something like this.

'Do you have any of those new P&P sets in yet?'
'Not unless there are any down the other end'
'No, there's none down there. I was going to get myself one whilst the GWP off is on'
'Oh you won't get one of those with that'
'Why?'
'Because its a different offer'
'How do you work that out?'
I pointed to the sign which quite clearly said that if you send £20 on any No 7 purchase, you get the gift.
'Oh no, you can't have two offers together'
'But its not two offers'
'It is, the P&P at that price is on special offer'
'I don't think it is, its just a gift set to entice people to start using it'
'Well you couldn't have the two together'
'My friend did the other day in another store'
'Well she shouldn't have done'
'Well she did, in fact, she had the P&P set, the GWP, a free highlighter (because she had bought No 7) and then used the £5 No 7 voucher'

Well I thought she was going to have a heart attack.

'They shouldn't have put those through. It says clearly on the vouchers that they can't be used with any other offer'.
'But if the till says that the transaction is ok, who are we to argue with it?. Most stores seem to be putting it through ok'
'They shouldn't even have tried'

I just laughed and said 'I'd better go and get mine from somewhere else then' and walked off laughing.
