I'm glad you complained as I've yet to buy a P&P cream that's been sealed  You'd think it would all be sealed wouldn't you?

I once brought this up with Boots and can't remember what they said. But it was something along the lines that they would "look in to it"

Really all face products and makeup should be sealed as you never know who has put there mitts in to. And I have seen people take products off the shelves to try it and that is from stock and not even testers.

I try and pick from the back of the shelves granted it could have been there a little longer but less likely for someone to have messed with it.

  • Hiya all
Just wondered if someone knows any of the following (sorry if they've been asked
    a million times already!):o
: When the till beeps to say a voucher is not allowed, does the SA automatically have to accept what the till says, OR have they got the power to override the till if they want. (All the SA's I've come across just say "sorry, but the till says no").
: Are "No 7 200 Points vouchers" ever allowed on reduced items ? I've never been allowed to do this.
: Can reduced No7 items go towards £20 total spend to get the GWP. I was refused the GWP today as one of the items was reduced.
    Thanks a lot
  • So i am asking this...

Can we have two threads, one for the boots vouchers and one for the boots early bird shoppers, cos one minute we are talking of the vouchers next its gone pages and pages about the early bird sales, its completely lost me for about 30 pages!

Just making a query that is all...
  • Jelly tots
I tried to use a voucher on a no7 reduced, and was told it was not allowed, it was a few months ago, cos it was the SA in Regent Rd that was saying for customers to go get the reduced no7 items, as i got myself an eyeshadow.
I was told it was down to the SA if they were confident enough to do it without their bosses seeing, as its not really allowed, like its only allowed for one highlighter powder per person per shop, but the one i got allowed me to do mine.
I was also told as i did try this, to add a reduced no7 item with the £20 offer and it was not allowed.
    Hope this helps.

There is a boots no chat thread been started for the ppl who don't want to read through the chat.

Was it the massive long post you posted last night you never got an answer to?

  • I thought I'd bump this one, as it seems a good deal for Valentine's. I forgot to say that ALL the Lauren aftershaves have the free gift - though this one is the best deal?
On the website - one of the Ralph Lauren Aftershaves is at half price, and works with the free gift. It is also reduced in store, not sure if the SA would let you get away with it?!
    hero.jpg
Buy Ralph Lauren Polo Sport After Shave 125ml £17.25
and get 1 Ralph Lauren Lindt Chocolates Gift free.
    ehero.jpg
The choccies are 380g, I peered at the back of the box today!
Online you are limited to 3 of the aftershaves, but only get one free gift, however many you buy.
No good for me, as OH wants Acqua di Selva (Boots traitor! I wanted to use my points!), and I am not eating choccies till I've lost my first 10lbs.

    Hope someone will enjoy them....

As the sale is virtually at a standstill now I doubt that there will be many more days of early morning chat, I think everybody's fed up of getting up at 5am for wrapping paper and tags judging by some of the posts and personally I think these girls need to get a decent nights sleep or 2 so they can get back out bootsing in store proper! :D
