Hmmm, that must be it :rotfl:
To quote passion8: "it's worth bookmarking just to find the offer of the day across a lot of shops"

Well .................... I rang CS this morning and explained how unhappy I was about my no.7 cream being undone and the lady was very sympathic.
She refunded the cost and added £5 to my advantage card.
I told her he hadn't used a card, didn't get a GWP or the £5 voucher, but expect that was pushing it a bit.
I am just happy to not be losing part of my b/day gift.
She said in future to open any cream in front of SA before buyer, which is odd, and something I wouldn't have thought about doing.

He went to his local in North London, last Thursday evening, where a very 'Helpful' No.7 lady 'helped' him.
They didn't have any stock of the P&P in (???), so she suggested other no.7 items instead.
He got me 3 in total, none of which I would use, I wanted the new P&P range. He said she told him it was the same as (he is not a bootster, didn't even use a card  ).
So today I asked him to take them back with the leaflet and get them exchanged for me, to the ones I wanted, or a gift card for me to get them elsewhere.
They exchanged 2 of the 3 items but refused the 3rd (No.7 Night cream) because it had been opened and you can see a finger dip in it!
Now I agree they shouldn't take them back like this, I wouldn't like my cream interfered with, but nor do I want to buy one that has been in effect opened and used either. Seeing as both of us never even undid the items we didn't know that this one had been opened.
I feel really peeved about this and to top it the SA kept his original receipt, he got no points and no GWP or £5 voucher.
I wouldn't dream of opening to check it was sealed believeing that it should be (and always has been on other items I've bought).
How do I complain? Ring them email them? My DH says to leave it but I am really upset, it was part of my gift and it cost £17.50!
Any ideas how to deal with this please??
Thanks

Google for offer of the day (or take out the spaces and add the www before and the co.uk after) and you'll find the site
