Hi Samantham06 - sorry I meant the coupon policy (MOC=money off coupons):D
It seems to change every Tesco store I'm in and with different supervisors/sales assistants - occasionally someone will allow 1 of each coupon even if I haven't bought the item as long as Tescos sells it and can reclaim the money from the manufacturer....others won't allow me to use more than 1 coupon per visit even if I've bought the right products.
Its so frustrating - I know I can use 10% of my bill in coupons in my local Asda and it never changes - at least I know where I stand with them. Its just v embarrassing having to go through the routine of handing coupons over, then getting most of the back again !
Hope you can shed some light on it all cos I'm clueless !:rotfl:0 -
Well - delivery didn't turn up last night. Showing as delivered this morning on my account. Rang CS. They rang the store and then phoned me straight back.
Store didn't have sufficient stocks of the tuna and claimed to have tried to ring me to let me know. They didn't, because I was in all day.
Nevertheless, they have rescheduled a delivery for tomorrow morning. And the tuna is STILL showing @ 10p in my area!! I just hope the instore price doesn't change before tomorrow morning!!0 -

Hiya, sorry I have looked at Tesco.com and yet you say they are still showing "in your area" at 10p how do you access your local Tesco then? because on Tesco.com they are full price. Thanks0 -

I think, when you log in to your Tesco account, you are directed automatically to a local Tesco's shopping site, rather than a national one. That would account for the fact that some people can find the item and some cannot.
It's been mentioned earlier in the thread that this offer is regional, again explaining why some people can only find the higher priced item.
So the whole thing is done automatically by the Tesco.com website (maybe based on your postcode in your account?). You can't direct your browser yourself to a local page on the website.
I hope this clarifies it for you.0 -
Thanks for this.. Picked up a few boxes instore.. no sel but scanned at 10p same as my online price..
They take up very little room in the freezer if you take them out of the box...0 -

In 2 of my local tesco's there are price checker scanners on the wall, i take anything that is listed on this site thats scanning a different price to the scanner and have a look first. The scanner at my tesco is in the baby and beauty products aisle.

I checked online first which shows the prices in my local delivery store... As mariagti says above use a scanner found on pillars in clothing area, toy aisle, pet food aisle, beauty aisles.. I've not come across one that actually works in the last 18months.. I just go to clothing desk for stuff to be scanned or the normal tills.0
