Wonder if anyone can help me. Ive got a Sony K700i with Orange which has a faulty button (the main 4 way navigation key) which is frustrating. I'm sure I can get it replaced as I've got Orange Care but what happens to all the numbers, photos, videos etc I have saved on the phone. Will I lose them, or is there a way to back them up?

You can download them off your phone using software like FMA. Just type FMA into Google and it will lead you there. You will need a data cable or bluetooth on your PC to transfer the files.I say what I like, I like what I say!0

its a common problem on these (as well as the t68/t610 etc which use the same part)the repair center will change it under warrenty if its under 1 year old and you wont lose any data unless they do a software upgrade at the same time, so tell then not to as sometimes they do it as a matter of course to cure any known bugs.0

the main repair center for you is crc in sandiacre (notts) but some carphone warehouses have onsite repairs, if you cant get orange care to do it0
