Yes, it's the sort of shop where you go in with high expectations, and come out with nothing!Stompa0 -
Thanks for this thread, went into my local TK Max in Epsom and grabbed my hubby a bargin, jeans from £45 to £1 he had better like them! Oh got myself a not so good bargin of a full price dress, guess thats how they get you in to buy with these good sales. Oh well, both purchases still cheaper than one pair of jeans!0

Anyone know how the clear out works in tkmaxx - do they put new stuff out everyday, do they put everythng out and then just keep reducing it till its all gone.
Maybe an idea to list the stores MSE have been to:
Bristol Cribbs - some bargins but not much left
Bolton - not much left
Bury - don't bother
Purley Way - ?
Hammersmith - ?
Ealing - ?
Epsom - Bargins to be had
Newport - don't bother
Woking- ?
Weston-Super-Mare - ?0 -
I just got back from Wigan - loads and loads and loads of stuff. Ladies, childrens and toys all on ground floor. Mens and household 1st floor
Didt get many bargains as the staff are so lazy. Apparantly they have not reduced nearly everything for last 3 days !!!! Was in there for 2 hours loitering around the guy doing reductions - then he disappeared - just as he was getting to my sizes lol. Went over to household and girl was doing reductions there - 5 minutes later she disappeared leaving 3 rows unfinished.
Went downstairs and it was just the same. The childrens clothes have been reduced well. I ended up chatting to manageress and she said they were very short staffed and apologised. I asked if she could get the items i wantd reduced and she said NO. Even though staff were going round to the reducers getting what they wanted reduced.
Ended up getting a pr of Calvin Kleins briefs for £1, a BALMAIN shirt from £45 to £2 amd another shirt from £40 to £1. Wasnt really worth the trip. However i was told that its all gotta go by close of business Saturday. I got friendly with one lad who was reducing stuff but by 1pm it was his lunch and he disappeared too. It seems that as soon as the crowds gather when they reduce stuff they disappear lol. Probably go back later in week. Be warned to check prices as i saw one coat at £65 , then same coat at £45 then same coat again at £25 so search for most reduced lol.
Anybody want to recomend me for post of the month i would be more than happy - lol
Good luck getting your bargains.0
