    Anything left in Liverpool store??
    Going tomorrow.
:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing

  • Whenever I've looked at the clothes in their sale, the cheap stuff is usually only in silly sizes, from the unfeasibly thin to the grotesquely fat...

well eat lots of cakes then or starve yourself:T
  • I just got 7 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of trousers, a dress, 3 skirts, a jumper, 2 tops and a jacket. According to the tickets it would have cost over £1100....I payed £49.70

    Thanks OP!!!! :T :T :T
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D

Was in Sauchiehall St yesterday, not much in shoes, boots or bags. Got a pile of bras for £1 each and a religion tee for £2. Also a pink fluffy dressing gown(with no belt) for £3, Edina Ronay grey trousers size 14 £4 and E.B. grey trousers £3(rec price was over £200).
Went to Cumbernauld today and their stuff was reduced more than S St so it was a bit of a bun fight! Got boots for £3 a pair (x 2) and a full circle navy short mac size M for £3. Also bath oils in a box for £2(originally £20) and a few ringspun tops for £1 each. I then managed to go to the Fort on my way home(bribed daughter with a starbucks) and it was not as "reduced" there as Cumbernauld but I still spent £25 and got a Prada silk chiffon top for £5, a black belted jacket size 14 for £3, a katherine hamnett "slogan" tee for 50p, some plates and mugs for 30p 2 TFNC dresses at £1 each, 2 x XTI bags for £2 each along with whatever else is in bag!!! The Fort will go down again in a couple of days time I expect. I also did BOOTS at the fort and got a silk jewellery box and usb fan for £2, they also have gingerbread houses and golf clocks and cards/tags. Boots Cumbernauld had nothing at all in sale. Happy Shopping!!!:T
Money is only of any use if you can spend it!

For what it's worth I've found that the stock varies significantly across TK Maxx stores - so it's worth popping in for a browse at any branch you see. Liverpool usually doesn't have my sort of thing (menswear), Birmingham has loads of stuff and is near the rail station (good if you've got some time between connections) but is way too massive, my local branch seems to have good stuff now and again (e.g. FC coat half price, FC shoes 1/4 price). IMHO most branches seem to do good deals on clothing, luggage, day bags and kitchen goods. Electrical goods are usually cheaper elsewhere on-line. Best of all, all clothing is ordered by size, which saves so much time ...
  • Just got back from my branch in Bolton and theres hardly anything left now. Further reductions are by the day.

We went to Bury last night and got a £65 t shirt for £1, a £70 jumper for £4 and a pair of jeans for big sis for £1

Had to take jumper back this morning as too small but bought same one bigger size for £2 - yipeee
Also got walking trousers were £110 now £2, pr jeans for friend were £75 now 70p and a pr of leather gloves were £45 now £1.

Off to Wigan on train in a sec so will report back.

PS dont bother going to Bury Branch
