Well I went to our TK's today. OMG, everyone was going mad:eek:

I was holding a sweatshirt and this woman came upto me and said 'that's mine, not yours'! Gosh the sales really bring out the best in people don't they:confused:

People were just loading their trollies with any old rubbish, I'll bet it'll all be on ebay next week:rotfl:
  • Just wondered if anybody has been to the Reading store and if they think it is worth going? I always get a bit phased by TKMaxx at the best of times so if there's not much there or a bit of a rugby scrum I don't think I can face it!
    Thanks
  • no sale at all in slough!
    'They only had one cow!'
  • Went into Wigan branch today and there were quite alot of toys left. Was amazed at the prices. Tiny tears prams £3 a brilliant Barbie Princess Dancing Castle from £70 to £7 various jigsaws £1 remote control car £3 leather jacket from £130 to £10 underwear mostly £1 bratz adventure doll £3 Power Ranger scooter £3 Playmobil shop £10! They did have alot of clothes left but as I was leaving quite a few people had noticed how cheap the toys were and I don't know how much will be left tomorrow.

A few bits and pieces in the Exeter TKMaxx, but not much worth having really. Certainly no toys other than with lots of bits missing or ripped books.

I know what you mean about the rude people adandem, a rather sour faced woman thought it was clearly acceptable to ram her trolley into my pram and 18 month old daughter without so much as a sorry so that she could get to the children's books before us  I won't repeat what I said to her.
  • i went in to the sunderland store on saturday and it was manic.
i got wolford tights for 70p
    isotone slippers for £2
ipod nano accessory kit for £1
they had tiny tears sets reduced to £1 and playmobile was dead cheap too.
coouldnt be bothered to look at the clothes but i might check out the newcastle store when im at uni tomorrow.

not a lot left in Livingston, hardly any kids wear and very few toy,s, unless you want bashed boxes....fine if they're for your own kids, but not really to give as pressies. I spent £1.20 on a bang on the door buggie and a set of magna? beads, both boxes ripped and bashed.
  • Just been to Cambrige branch bought Ben Sherman shirt worth £45 paid £4
    Ringspun Parka £120 paid £10 can't be bad:j
  • Whenever I've looked at the clothes in their sale, the cheap stuff is usually only in silly sizes, from the unfeasibly thin to the grotesquely fat...
