Ok, long story. Bought a top in October, started dispute as it was falling apart, meant to be new. Sent it back twice, to a fake address (it got returnt), and finally got another address off paypal themselves, so sent it back. I sent it back international signed for, with assurance of the fact it'd be signed for on the door in Singapore, so entered the details and tracking number into the paypal dispute, in december, got this today:
The tracking information you provided was invalid, and we were unable to
confirm delivery of the item associated with this claim. As a result, the
case is now considered closed and we are unable to process a refund.
We encourage you to work directly with the seller to find a resolution
So even thought I got signed for international postage (I was told the best way to send it), to singapore, sent to the address which paypal had confirmed on thier file, and the address they told me on thier third call I made to them, i've lost everything? They assured me when I called them that as long as I sent it in a trackable way, with a signature needed at the end, I would get a refund of the item (seller promised postage refund as well, with email proof, but they won't do that). Is there anything I can do? Still got the slip here somewhere, so can fish that out.

What happens when you enter the tracking number into the system, does it show as delivered?
If when you do it it shows as delivered then phone paypal up this morning and have a moan. They might have mistyped the number if it shows as undelivered to them but delivered to you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. That explains why paypal have refused the claim then.
You can claim for lost overseas parcels but only 25 working days after item was sent. It also takes up to 3 months to pay you out.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Sorry for the time taken to reply - work eh? Well, when I called paypal, they told me to send it that way, but checking the Royal Mail webpage, it shows that its signed for when it leaves the UK - something I asked NOT for - I wanted it signed on thier doorstep in singapore. Thing is, the tracking number says its left the UK, so would I still be able to claim? And if so, do they need a proof of item amount or something? Just want this ordeal over with, but i've got to work with paypal over a counterfeit item sold as well ¬¬ December and Jan are months best away from paypal!
Also - would Royal Mail (if they could), refund the postage AND item amount? Seeming as I paid £13 for them to lose my item
Thanks all x~*Cerenia*~

I would think unless it shows as delivered then you can claim but you may be too late.Soolin says you have 25 working days.
Get onto RM today and see what they say:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -

Sorry it is probably me and my mind being elsewhere today (exchanging contracts on a house sale that I am responsible for). The 25 working days is the time a seller has to wait before they can start a claim via RM, not the later limit, so OP will be fine.
Going back to the OP..I'm not sure how RM deal with things in this instance and I often feel that paying for an enhanced service is actually counter effective as they can say *they* didn't lose te parcel. I don't know for sure though so it might be worth phoning them and asking if a claim can be made. Or else just make a claim anyway.
Just recently RM have been refunding the item cost plus the actual postage paid, so all is not entirely lost.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just had a response from paypal, saying that they cannot confirm the seller has had the item back, hence why I lost my claim, and that I didn't send it properly, so I had to reply:
So, can I verify one detail?
I was told to send the item back via Royal Mail International Signed
For, to confirm deliveryto that address, but in fact, that does NOT confirm that the item has been delivered to that adress?~*Cerenia*~
