Have done a shift in the bar, so £24.95 after tax etc to add to my total, plus a tiny scrap of bingo winnings from this morning.

everythings going a bit slowly here for me at the moment.. I am a little short of money at the moment too, me and the boyf had a good 3 crazy nights out in a row together with our friends and nights out are good but, expensive. Top that off with him getting a parking ticket on my car and him taking the weekend and next off work I am a little worried for the next few weeks and I wish i could at least have some money coming in soon from this challenge, but, I am going to try a bit harder, and I'll go through the £1 bingo sites, and force myself to do more stp.
oh, and the red light for petrol is on in the car and I want to go home (150 miles) to see my mum next weekend for mothersday! woooooo!
Bless you , it never rains but poors but at least you are more than £100 better off than you would have been and I you sound determined enough to make plenty more money so you might still get home - i hopeMay 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -
Aw thanks, it just seems like 1.5 steps forwards and 1 step back at the moment! but that is a lot of my fault to be honest I guess
Im on slice the pie now and I'm nearly up to £5 and its got very boring but I feel guilty so I am forcing myself to get so that I can withdraw to paypal!0 -
Hello all, have been away since thursday, living it up in the big city, been to see the Lion King which I have been wanting to see for aaaages, and hubby treated us - January challenge helped with some extra spends, had a great time, our son has aspergers though and asked questions throughout the show - he just didn't get it, and it kinda took the edge off for me - shouldn't grumble - we all have our problems. Anyway, got back about an hour ago and was pleased to see loads of surveys waiting for me and yippee my foxy bingo points have shown up - not claimed them before and had given up hope of ever seeing them so well chuffed - £47.47 to be added! Everyone seems to be doing really well this month, only another 6 days to go, can't believe how fast its gone.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

Well February is going really well on this challenge. I got a big Ebay sale yesterday and I've not only broken the £10 a day barrier, but the £20 a day barrier!“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

I treat the 2 challenges totally seperately: on the £10 a day I count everything as I actually do it, so e.g. £1 for a survey, 5p piggy click, £20 for a bingo win and so on exactly at the time that I do the 'work' for it.
But for the Olympic I count it as it actually credits my account or arrives in the post. Because this one is short term, I think that you can only do your best to achieve the £10 a day and it's disheartening if you can't count it for several months, whereas Olympic lasts much longer so you can wait for things to credit. Make any sense?!
That is a great idea pandapaws - I wish I was clever enough to have thought of that:rotfl:
I have done loads of surveys and bits but was only counting them as I got them, but now I'll do the same as you if thats OK - count each survey etc as I do it in the £10/day challenge and and the money as it comes in for the free christmas challenge. I feel a bit more positive now, was really worried that I wouldn't make this challenge after the bingo runs out. I'm having problems getting any bonuses now, only have the £1 sites left.
Am hoping to prise OH's debit card out of his wallet so he can play.
I love this board, it is so full of inspiration

Just check on my surveys etc I've done this month £11.72, this is most of the ones that pay cash or vouchers, not points like lightspeed or GTM as I haven't worked out how to convert these to "money" valueHoping to stick to the challenge this year!!
