    Really? Wonder if system has changed or the bod I spoke to just didn't know? She certainly had no understanding of why I'm concerned about the information on the licence. Replacement EHIC card is free.

    Think I'll ring again.

    most banks have an 'overseas' number on their website which if you translate will not be a high rate one - either that or as above use saynoto0870.com
