Phones4u are offering free 5/6 months on O2 tariffs for handset Nokia and Samsung phones.
e.g http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_contract_details.asp?ItemKey=134149&MPItemKey=134480

I like this deal because,
1) only one cashback to be claimed
2) cashback in cheque instead of airtime.
3) cashback claimed is in 6th month itself.
4) I can downgrade after 6 months

I just don't know how reliable they are.

  • Yep, they're pretty reliable, I've heard.

As with all cashback deals, make sure you keep copies of the all the documentation that you send off.

When I used to work for them they were a nightmare for loosing the cash back claims and not paying out. The best way to get the money is to send it in by recorded delivery - they favourite excuse was that the letter was late and didnt qualify, sending it recorded prevents them from trying it on.

If you have any problems and are persistant they usually pay up. I guess they are not really any worse than the rest of them.

    Good Luck
  • I've had three cash back deals with them and they all paid up within a few weeks. Remember to keep each of your bills, number and file them. Keep a photocopy of your sixth bill and send off the original with your claim voucher. I never bothered with recorded delivery and hI ad no problems.
