Ending Three Contract

I am coming to end of "Three" contract, still 1 month left.
I called Three and gave 1 month notice for ending the contract, after declining their offers for upgrade.

Would "Three" provide me any proof of my notice?. Would it appear in my bill (or) would they send me a letter?.

I know Vodafone send a letter to confirm the contract has ended and they explain if you will get 1 more bill or if the current one is the last.

Not sure about 3 though, they should.

I didn't get any written proof. Contracts finished in June

I have got a 3 phone too and it is locked to the 3 network, other than selling the phone at the end of the contract, do they send out a pay as you go sim so you can stay connected to them?

Not sure if I want to spend £15 a month either so do they allow you to rejoin at any time to pay as you go even if you dont make any calls for a month or two if you get around to a top up for a month? At least it gives me a back up phone that way.

at least the other networks seem to be more clear on this with one call in 180days
