Cheapest PAYG for texts
My son is on t-mobile text appeal, spending about £20 ish a month (so sending in the region of 700 texts). Is there a cheaper option, he can't get a contract being only 17 , i already have 1 and can't afford to have another 1 coming out, so any ideas on who is the cheapest would be much appreciated.

That is a pretty good deal you could consider Vodafone free weekend texts and calls allowing all texts and calls (to mobiles and uk landlines) to be free after spending £5 during the week (Monday - Friday). That would be for free calls and texts the free texts on their own kick in at £2.50 spent (Monday - Friday).

I would go with Orange "Free Text Top Up", you get 300 free texts for each £10 spent in a month.
If you topped up by £20 you would get 600 texts.
If you topped up by £30 you would get unlimited texts.
(plus the cash you topped up by, calls at 15p a minute &texts 10p each).0 -
