combi boiler broke? heating but no hot water? help!

hi, my friend has a worcester 28Si combi boiler. all seems fine ie the pilot light is on etc... but the hot water is not coming out hot, just slightly luke warm (if that). the heating works fine though! which is wierd! anyone help?

When mine was working properly I would have to put the hot water on full and turn turn it down so the water didn't come out so quickly, the water then heated up. It was a tip the heating enginer gave me and always worked until recently!

But if ever I stray from the path I follow

Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!

Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more
