T-Mobile Web & Walk at One Stop Phone Shop

I want to take out a T-Mobile Web & Walk package. Flext 25 + W&W is £32.50 discounted to £27.50 on the T-Mobile web site.

I don't need a phone, so I have looked on the OSPS web site and see that I can get a Flext £25 package for abour £9 / month using their cash back deal. (I know there has been a lot of disucssionabout cash back, but from what I hear I think OSPS are OK?) Add the W&W package to that and it is about £17 / month for the whole deal.

The thing is, W&W isn't listed as an add on on the OSPS Web site. Does anyone know if I would be able to take out the £9 a month deal and then add W&W directly with T-Mobile once the contract is set up and running?

Has anyone done this or know if it is possible?

You can do this: take out the Flext 25 though OSPS then just call up T-Mobile directly and tell them you want to add web & walk on to your account and they can do this for you, although it will cost you an extra £7.50 per month.

But please please please take warnings about cash back deals very seriously! I have seen them bite folk in the backside so so so often!

Thanks Lawbunny. You are right about the cash back deals. Always a risk. I know a couple of friends that have used OSPS and have always done OK. I was going to spend £27.50 anyway with T-Mobile direct. If this all goes tits, I will only be a fiver a month worse off, but if works out OK I will be £10 per month better off, so I think it will be worth the gamble.

I am more worried about not being able to add W&W once I take out the contract via OSPS. Are you sure I won't experience any difficulties and be bound to dealing with OSPS customer service who for whatever reason may not allow me to add it.

I see that OSPS do some W&W deals but they are on much higher tariffs than I would like.

    Thanks again

    Hey,

Nope, you will be fine. Although it is through OSPS that you are purchasing the contract, the actual contract for the airtime is with T-Mobile - it is T-Mobile who will send you bills, and a T-Mobile account will be opened for you. All you have to do is open the account through OSPS, then call T-Mobile on 150 from the phone once you get it and ask for a web n walk bundle to be added on. This also gives you the advantage that you can actually remove the web n walk aspect whenever you want also. It just works in the same manner as a text bundle etc.

(I work for T-Mobile customer services, btw, so I know you can do this as I do it on a daily basis for customers!)
