Torianut - I don't think we ever stop worrying about them but don't forget that to have an average age to walk you have some that do it really young and some that take longer. Thing is, people are really quick to tell you when their child does something quickly but less forward if they take longer. My friend's little girl didn't walk until she was nearly two and now she does gymnastics, loads of sport and ballet and is fantastic at it all. Def get a referral to put your mind at rest xx
Happy birthday W xx
oi are you taking over my role of giving sensible advise:p Actually I am too busy creating a gingerbread man costume! Copped out, went in the loft and found a biscuit coloured roll neck and some almost matching moleskins. Going to sew black felt circles on for buttons and make a mask - possibley out of one of those poly circles you get with pizza express pizza.
Tomorrow I am taking DS3 to what I am calling 'the makers magic shop'. It is a place where all local factories/buisinesses off load stuff. For £15 a year membership you can cart away as much of it as you like as often as you like. Never been but it sounds fab. Hoping to get bits for the submarine project.
Mudbath - glad you are getting laid back about the flying - that is getting to another level and knowing that when you can you will get it back to how you want it.
The paper avalanch has happened so I need to sort some of it.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

re tooth fairy in our house she gave £2 for the first tooth and £1 thereafter
G&B yes brother and SIl are both hearts fans although I dont think they will be smiling at the moment, I dont follow any particular team just like watching most games of football although since moving to this house as we can see dunfermlines ground from the front window so I do tend to look for their score first these days.
Anyway off now for a glass of wine and to sort out this paperwork for tomorrow.0 -

You all seem to be having a glass of wine so I am going to join you all!
Tori - DS2 walked much later than my others. I always put it down to fear that DS1 would shove him over. He does have tight hamstrings and no arches - neither are a major problem but with hindsight I wonder if either of these delayed his walking a bit?
I was on another thread last week and I asked somebody to pm me details of a book they had mentioned. I had never replied to this persons posts before so did not have any history with them. They have so kindly sent me their old (in fab condition) copy of the book. Things like that make me feel all warm inside. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
