    Hello all!
Maralum - thanks for the cute pics of Freya, looks like my LO with face full of food - although he was 9lb 6oz born but not 20lb by 12 months! Stopped taking him to be weighed after that as they only worried me!!

    So far:
    WM x 1
Tesco shop done and put away
flapjacks made for pack ups (shouldve been done last night really but a biscuit will be ok for one day!)

really need to get stuck into kitchen now but LO been asleep for over an hour so I know that as soon as I start he will wake up for his lunch!

Fairly happy with that. I then lost interest and have spent two hours doodling around MSE and drinking coffee!

Just had a call from the school nurse: did DD have booster injections last year? I haven't the faintest idea. I'll have a dig round in the box of paperwork where I sling all the school stuff and see if I can find anything. I've also texted DD but she's not answering. She definitely needs to have them for India. I have to take her for two other injections late this afternoon, typhoid and hepatitis I think. She's not going to be a happy bunny! And she's been a delight this weekend, after last week's big row...Large chocolate bribe I think.

The sun is shining! I have to stay home for OH's laptop delivery which is rumoured to be arriving today - probably in the only 20 minutes I have to leave the house to collect the children. I could go do the front garden though, and that's the sunniest spot. Sorry mudbath, I couldn't only do 5 minutes - but then gardening is the fun stuff I can do when I've done the housework. I haven't felt in the least like doing much in the garden until last week, but really want to get out there now!

    maralamum - Freya's gorgeous!
michelle - take care to rest. Are you feeling any better now? If you are anaemic, it can take a while for the iron tablets to build up so that you start to feel better.

hugs to those feeling poorly, or with poorly ones at home.

DS is being really hard work today, really feel like I can't have done anymore to make him happy and don't know what else to do. Just put him down for a nap. Feel quite down today, not sure why, think its just one of those days. he kicked off at playgroup and I was so on the verge of tears, no one elses kids seem to be like this. Think I really need to look into someone helping me with DS for a couple hours a week.

Might try and do a few jobs in the garden to enjoy this sunshine. Xx

Hugs Tracy - some days just seem impossible with kids but then other days they are a joy!

My day started off like that - but it's DD2 who is the problem - throwing herself all over the house having paddies or silly reasons and she is 8!!!

LO has been a gem so far and now had a really long sleep so I am chilled at the moment - until 3.15!!

Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week when it comes to housework, or just the motivation to do the dreaded housework tasks you have to do, come and join us, hopefully make it a little easier. You never know, you might start to enjoy it!

Following requests to start things steadier for new members who did not realise the tasks list wasn’t a must do, just an encouragement. There will now be level 1, 2 and 3. Level 1 being very basic it has been requested that this is just one task per day, level 2 in the middle, up to 3 which is more advanced and time consuming. If you want to do level 2 you add the tasks on level 1 with the level 2 tasks, if you want to do level 3 you add the tasks on, easy peasy. Choose a level to aim for but be realistic, if you’ve got a busy day on or are just starting etc aim for level one, if you get higher then great, if not then not to worry its only suggestions. Every room comes back around next week. Trust me some days I'll only be doing level one myself.

THESE LISTS ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS AND NOT A MUST DO LIST, ALWAYS WELCOME TO POST AND FOLLOW YOUR OWN.

Also adding a declutter mission each day. Another one where it’s up to you if you want to do it or if you need to. This follows requests from members who are looking to declutter. Fling boogies, hotspot clearing, cupboard sorts, drawer sorts etc will all be on this list. Any problems with this of any suggestions do please let me know.

A few of the basics before we start the week

Hotspots are any areas which if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!

Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc

Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.

27 Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a binbag and whizz around the house finding 27 items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Swish and swipe means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

Ok here goes this week! Please remember don't hurt yourself doing any of these tasks, if it's too much leave it or delegate. No BUMPS on ladders please (knowing there are some pregnant flyladies joining us at the moment)

Just come across this thread and I'm definately in, house is like a tip at the moment especially bedrooms. I work full time (day off today) and normally don't do much when I get in apart from dinner. Let's hope I can change the habits of a lifetime.
As it's lunch time already I'd better get cracking, I'm not sure if I feel inspired, guilty or inadequate at the moment!!

    Afternoon all

Been invigilatig all morning but this afternoons is cancelled which is great as a whole day is too much really. Had my lunch and a cuppa so just going to get changed and do an hour in the kitchen and do my dalies, should get all that done before school.

Tracey - hugs hun, how old is your DS

Mudbath - I don't trust myself to just do 5 minutes but if I do get the kitchen done then I need to empty the huge recycling bin as I think my prunners are in with the green waste and they come on Wednesday to collect it.

I'm having a well deserved :coffee: Just spent an HOUR hoovering and cleaning the inside of the car, just the inside! :rotfl:

OH is back at work today, thankfully!!! I would have thrown something at him if he hadn't. Had a huge row yesterday after he made a comment that he HAD to go back Monday because he doesn't get sick pay, and his Mum said it's very contagious but if I get it then I will just have to cope somehow because he is not taking any moire time off.... Then I said I was off to my Mum and Dads and he yelled 'Well I can't look after the weans like this can I?' (after saying he was feeling a bit better) And I yelled back that I wasn't leaving the kids with him.... then thought about it and yelled back even louder with more gusto 'Oh but it's all very well if I get it to look after two kids is it?'

SO, yes, better that he is back to work... :A

Will start proper flying after my coffee. It's not too bad, won't take long. Have I had lunch?

Also did WM x 2, and DW has been on and emptied, lunch dishes cleared away.
Just going to go for a shower then take the rubbish down to the bins. DH has taken LO to her cardiology appointment so i'm getting peace:D
Welcome to baileysbattlebus, can we call you BBB? My house is way tidier than it was before i found this thread, the main bit of advice every newbie gets is dont try and play catchup, all the rooms will come round again next week;)
