Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
    Level One
    Clean floors in these areas
    Level Two

Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards
Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, firdge, freezer etc) and inside the microwave
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Clean washer drawer, filters on the dryer, dishwasher and cooker hood filters
Clean the oven if you missed it last week or it needs it

Extra tasks if you want to do more
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps, a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    • Empty one shelf (or the top of a cupboard) clean it, clean what's on it and put it all back
    • Clean out and organize one cupboard, more if you like
    • Wipe & replace small appliances likekettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
On top of this I have cleared a couple of hotspots and put stuff at the bottom of the stairs for DrDragon to take upstairs (crutches, items and stairs are not a good combination!)
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup :D

:hello: Dont worry, we're not easily annoyed! Its a fairly laidback bunch here, dont knock yourself out doing everything. I dont do up to level 3 very often and my house is still a million times better than it was before i started on this thread.
If you do want to do everything, then enjoy your sparkly clean house, you'll deserve it!

no.. I didn't buy grapes.. I eat them and they give me belly ache!

Is he a right miserable!!!!!! then like our stagecoach drivers? PMSL!! (I usually call it cockroach because they are manky buses and the drivers are all called Edgar.. have you seen Men in Black? The cockroach men??) The east yorkshire drivers are great.. but the others are right narks. I think it is the company.. not just the fact all the buses I get on go to the crumby estates and are always full of 'classy people' ;)

As for new boots/shoes.. I don't ask!! BUT the red boots I am 'watching' he is quite impressed with and just said.. have you bought those yet?

Just updated my 'spending diary' it only includes groceries so I have a proper idea how much I spend on food etc each month.. I was aiming at £150 a week.. I am up to £106 and that's just today!!! Day 1!!!! and I have another £100ish tesco order coming on Wednesday!!.. Payday on Thursday though so I get to pay off some dweebs and change my siggy strip for the better!! :D

I need to set up a bill payment for Scottish Power as well.. I'll do that in a second.. after I've made a cuppa and been to loo!!

Jeez i've so much left to do but they're hopefully quick things.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
    Level One
    Clean floors in these areas
    Level Two
    Wipe down surfaces
Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards
Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, firdge, freezer etc) and inside the microwave
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Clean washer drawer, filters on the dryer, dishwasher and cooker hood filters
Clean the oven if you missed it last week or it needs it

Extra tasks if you want to do more
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms

    • Clean out and organize one cupboard, more if you like
    • Wipe & replace small appliances likekettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
Extra stuff I need to do:
    - send cheque for cooker installation
    - arrange MOT
    - pick up pressie for DHs birthday

    - check recipe for cake and make sure i've got ingredients
    - unload DW
    - unload WM
    - dry clothes for 10 mins and hang
    - put dry clothes away
    - sort underwear
    - ironing
    - put ironing away
    - put underwear away
    - sort through DSs birthday cards and keep any bits for cardmaking
    - pack lunches
    - help at school for morning
    - badmington run
    - football pick up
    - 27 bits of filing / shredding
    - 27 bits of rubbish cleared from car
    - walk dog
    - find somewhere that stocks a body protect for ds's riding
    - sort composting
    - arrange for car to go and get stereo

Just about to do the badminton run so will pop out to car now and get fill a bag with rubbish. When I come home i've an hour before DD comes home to do the cleaning. My friends wants to do the footy pick up as well as taking them. I'm not used to letting others do it all so it's hard but it will help me out as I need to take DH to the airport. He's back Thursday this week and has Friday off so that's good. Right, next time i'm on i'll hopefully tick the rest of the list off. I'm struggling big time today just due to lack of time! Will get there though and then it'll be really worth it.

    Catch you all later xx

Well the rubbish that eventually went to the tip was 4 bin bags full, inc broken toys, boxes from toys, general junk etc etc then of course the cardboard, old car batteries and some engine oil. All done now :D I really believe in recycling but makes me sick seeing the people who work at the tip rummaging through bags, especially when like today the lad split one open and it was just poopy nappies, gosh that hummed!

DS1 & 2 in the garden playing now, don't know how long for as DS2 is in 'on my own' mood and DS1 is in 'bug my brother' mood :rotfl: WW3 soon I think. DP didn't end up doing the car because he got a call to say her royal twisty pants (his mother) is on her way back and needed collecting, so as usual he drops everything. He's been waiting for over an hour at the airport now because of delays. Oh we're in for fun again with her being back, always causes arguements.

Right, anyway, I'm going to post tomorrows list now, incase we do what we had planned (and she doesn't spoil that to) and are out later. Ah spending diary, forgot my GC finishes today and I haven't added last nights 'birthday tea' yet, thanks for the reminder!
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Not done too bad today. Done up to level 2 and some of level 3. My kitchen is looking lovely. its not looked so good for months.

On the potty training side, We've done really well. A few very small dribble accidents, but thats not bad at all. He even sat on and did a poo... I'm really proud of him, more so because i'm having problems with DS2 wetting himself and he's very nearly 5. I've tried everything to get him out of it and i don't know what to do next.

    Sorry rant over.
    Nothing to declare ;)
