I used a brilliant tip I was given on this website - mix a thick paste of bleach and bicarbonate of soda and apply to the silicone - leave as long as possible and remove. We had really bad silicone all round where the shower tray met the tiles and I honestly couldn't believe the results - it was gleaming white. I also used on an area where our bath taps are so near the tiled wall that you can't get in to clean or dry the silicone - the gap is only maybe half a centimetre. I used the paste and pushed it in with a knitting needle and left overnight. This area was a mixture of black and dark orange and looked disgusting and now is brilliant white!
  • Thanks for that tip burnham1, just read some reviews on the HG mould remover, sounds like good stuff, I'll have try some of that myself, apparently works on all stains.

I use this on shower tiling. Works well but the smell wud be great as a burglar deterrent! Deadly on chest and eyes. Not to be recommended if you're sensitive.
