Are Orange the only mobile phone company who offer free 0800/0808 calls on contract. Have been with them on the high speed data tariff as I use 1899 for calls and texts are only 7p each.
However am currently not best pleased with them. I got my kids contract phones last year which I cancelled after 12 months as they went back on PAYG. I had to pay £100 deposit for each handset. Now Orange are claiming I only paid one deposit and I am having to get bank and credit card statements sent through to prove I paid the two at a cost of £10.
Hpwever I am not going to cut my nose off to spite my face.

o2 charge for freephone calls after your free mins, dont know about other networks.

When you prove Orange are at fault pass the cost onto them!!

Thats what I intend to do. It just annoys me that something I didn't want to pay in the first place, and didn't see the need to pay, is now causing aggravation.

Orange are the only network that allow free calls on a contract phone to any 0500/0800/0808 freephone numbers unless its a cheap call/calling card service when they charge for them.

Virgin do allow free access to some Telephone Helpline numbers.

As Miss G points out O2 are the only network that include them in there inclusive minutes, but they are chargeable after you have used minutes up.
