orange PAC code issues!

I have just left orange and transferred to 02. When I rang orange and asked them to terminate my contract, I asked them to send the PAC code, and they agreed without a problem.

Two weeks later it had not arrived, I rang again and they said that they would send it.

It has still not arrived; my contract is finished now - will it be possible to get my PAC number from orange? What number can I ring from a landline/non orange phone?

if your contract has terminated (ie, sim no longer works) chances are your requested a termination of contract.

PAC can be issued via text if you been waiting more than 7days for PAC in the post.

if you terminated the contract then it's likely you have lost the number, you needed to request the PAC not to cancel the contract. If the cancellation has already happened then the chances are even less.

I had a similar problem where i was told I would get a PAC within 5 days by post and it hadnt arrived after a week. I rang again but the person told me that they had no record of my original request !
I then made a fuss and he eventually generated a PAC whilst on the phone and sent it as a text message.
Why this was no done in the first place i dont know
